The pressure distribution of the rock mass on the tunnel's top and the level of stress concentration on its two sides are asymmetrical for inclined seam conditions. The position of the maximum vertical tension is expected to change from the left hip to the side of the coal pillar as the coal pillar widens. This change essentially marks the system's transition from one stable state to another.

Despite advances in oceanographic investigations in the Indian Ocean, zooplankton ecology is still poorly known from the open waters of the Bay of Bengal. In order to understand the vertical and horizontal distribution of zooplankton in the Bay of Bengal during spring intermonsoon, stratified sampling was conducted using a multiple plankton net. We found that higher zooplankton biomass was often associated with mesoscale cold-core eddies.

This study summarized the results of surveys for arsenic since 2008 and surveys for dissolved ions and trace elements since 2015, and described characteristics on distribution for chemical composition at the regional areas along the MR and Bassac (Hậu) River (BR). Groundwater samples were collected from existing wells in 8 provinces and 1 city. The authors used Piper and Stiff diagram that reflect the chemical composition of groundwater to respond to varying horizontal and vertical distributions.

An inspection of a tidal river concrete bridge in the Mekong River Delta discovered a large number of map cracks in most piers within the tidal range. These map cracks distribute nearly vertically and horizontally with a distance of about 15 and 20 cm. Many of them have a width over 1 mm and a depth exceeding the thickness of the reinforcement protection concrete layer. An attempt was made to study the soil water movement under two type of plastic mulch (black and white) with drip irrigated eggplant on a line source dripper. Both spatial and temporal variation of wetting pattern was determined in sandy loam soil using surfer 15 software. The layout of the experiment was three treatments tested, black mulched drip irrigation (BM+DI), white mulched drip irrigation (WM+DI) and drip irrigation without mulching. The results of the study indicated that DI + BM and DI + WM treatments distinctly decreased water applied in the order of DI + WM < DI + BM < DI.

Graphical techniques reveal that there is a strong correlation between turnover rates and the firm’s decision not to offer health insurance, and this pattern holds both in the aggregate (Figure 4) and when firm size is controlled for (Figure 5).
