  • This study aimed to design a nanocarrier system for the efficient delivery of poorly soluble drugs in cancer treatment. Nanogel systems were prepared from copolymers of Heparin and different Pluronics, in which the Hep-Plu conjugates were formed via disulfide bridges of cystamine molecules. The obtained Hep-Plu systems were proved and characterized using specific techniques including H-NMR, zeta potential, DLS and FT-IR.

Allopurinol has been applied to reduce the concentration of uric acid in blood and used as a model drug in collagen drug delivery system. Glutathione (GSH) suffers from low stability in water, where its encapsulation in nanoemulsions is a powerful strategy to its stability in aqueous systems.   • The aim of the present study was to develop and evaluate a thermoresponsive depot system comprising of docetaxel-loaded cubosomes. The cubosomes were dispersed within a thermoreversible gelling system for controlled drug delivery. The cubosome dispersion was prepared by dilution method, followed by homogenization using glyceryl monooleate, ethanol and Pluronic® F127 in distilled water. The cubosome dispersion was then incorporated into a gelling system prepared with Pluronic® F127 and Pluronic® F68 in various ratios to formulate a thermoresponsive depot system.
