Pre writing  Pre teach Free time = spare time (to) go fishing (to) go to the movies  Picture drill: B1 (P127) a→f Exchange: S1: What do you do in your free time? S2: I go to the movies.  Transformation drill: B1 P127 Exchange: S1: What does (Phuong) do in his spare time? S2: He goes to the movies
 Transformation writing : B1 P127 a→f Students change “I“ to “ Phuong” … a) Phuong goes to the movies in his free time b) Ly watches T.V in her free time c) Nam… d) Lan… e) Tuan… f) Long… Students correct their own writing with answer key: B3 a→f P128 3. While writing  Pyramid Students write 3 things about what they do in their spare time. In groups they put all their sentences together on a poster Example: Individual writing (San writes): I watch T.V, I go fishing and I play football
(Thuy writes): I watch T.V, I go to the park and I play badminton (Chinh writes): I listen to music, I play football and I watch T.V  Group writing (poster): San, Thuy and Chinh watch T.V San and Chinh play football San goes fishing Thuy goes to the park and plays badminton Chinh listens to music III.
