Molecular characterization of fusarium wilt resistant and susceptible safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) genotypes

Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is an oilseed crop that is valued as a source of high quality vegetable oil. The present study was carried out with the objective of evaluation of genetic diversity among 11 Fusarium wilt resistance and 5 susceptible safflower genotypes by using RAPD and SSR markers.241 RAPD primer as well as 17 SSR polymorphic primers were used in this study.
