Primary study on biological activities and chemical constituents of Anoectochilus roxburghii Wall. of Vietnam

The total methanol extract of whole plants of Anoectochilus roxbughii (Orchidaceae) from Kontum, Vietnam is evaluated to have antibacterial and antioxidant properties. The results indicate that at concentration of 200µg/ml, the extract shows weak activities.
