This paper focuses on optimizing the chromatographic instrumental operating parameters and the solid phase extraction conditions using HLB cartridges. Results from the method validation showed that the method has sub ng/L LOQs (0.10-0.60 ng/L), quantitative recoveries at the concentrations near the LOQs (74.4-122.8%) and high repeatability with acceptable %RSD (15.6-38.3%).

In this study, we conducted the sequence polymorphisms analysis in the OsHKT1;5 coding region in order to detect the potential allelic variants in some local rice cultivars in Viet Nam. The adsorption of Cu(II) ions from aqueous solution onto alginic acid has been investigated based on the establishment of a relationship among pH, conductivity and the concentration of metal ion. It was shown that the adsorption of this metal ion onto alginic acid followed the pseudo-second-order reaction and was conducted by ion exchange mechanism.
