Global competition has intensified geographic repositioning of supply chain activities with implications for the economic prosperity of specific regions and geographies affected by such shifts. This study examines the relationship between the level of corruption and economic growth using the supply chain and ARDL bounds test method. The data used are GDP, the level of corruption, foreign direct investment, government spending and inflation from 2000-2018. The results of the study indicate a negative and significant impact on the level of corruption on economic growth in the long run.

The aim of the work "Activated carbon derived from rice husk by NaOH activation and its application in supercapacitor" is to prepare a low-cost, high specific surface area activated carbon with microporous and mesoporous ranges using rice husk as the raw material. The effects of activation temperature on the specific surface area, pore structure, morphology and thermal stability of the AC samples have been examined. The AC samples were proved to be excellent electrode material for supercapacitor, hence solve the disposal and pollution problems of rice husk.

3′ Untranslated regions (3' UTRs) length is regulated in relation to cellular state. To uncover key regulators of poly(A) site use in specific conditions, we have developed PAQR, a method for quantifying poly(A) site use from RNA sequencing data and KAPAC, an approach that infers activities of oligomeric sequence motifs on poly(A) site choice.

The teacher designed materials and activities can be of various formats. Basically, you set up a number of “learning stations” around the classroom – designated tables or spaces where small groups of students will do specific learning tasks for a specific amount of time. The small groups rotate from station to station, doing a different topic-related task at each station.

The catalyst 7.5% NiO/TiO2 and seven samples of NiO/γ-Al2O3 with NiO content from 7.5% to 60% have been obtained and studied. Physico-chemical characteristics of the catalysts were determined by methods of Adsorption (BET), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), TemperatureProgrammed Reduction (TPR) and Hydrogen Pulse Titration. The catalytic properties of the obtained samples were investigated in the reaction of CO methanation at temperatures 180 – 220◦C and mole ratios hydrogen/carbon monoxide 25-100.

Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins are gatekeepers regulating the cellular responses induced by G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR)-mediated activation of heterotrimeric G proteins. Specifically, RGS proteins determine the magnitude and duration of GPCR signaling by acting as a GTPase-activating protein for Gα subunits, an activity facilitated by their semiconserved RGS domain. The R7 subfamily of RGS proteins is distinguished by two unique domains, DEP/DHEX and GGL, which mediate membrane targeting and stability of these proteins.

Through research of research projects in Vietnam and abroad related to the topic, the thesis shows that there are no works that comprehensively study theoretical and practical issues to ensure the right of proceeding of the litigants in civil proceedings in Vietnam. There is still only studies from the perspective of separate legal rights (but this number is also very small).

Formal specification of agent behaviour through environment scenarios introduces a formal notation for the specification of scenario s in agent based systems. The autonomous and collaborative behavior of an agent can be formally specified by a set of rules describing its activity in various scenarios. The power of the approach is illustrated by the formal specification of maes.

Vibrio choleraehemolysin (HlyA), a water-soluble protein with a native monomeric relative molecular mass of 65 000, forms transmembrane pentameric channels in target bio-membranes.TheHlyAbinds to lipid vesicles nonspecifically and without saturation; however, self-assembly is triggered specifically by cholesterol. Here we show that the HlyA partitioned quantitatively to amphiphilic media irrespective of their compositions, indicating that the toxin had an amphiphilic surface.

The serotype a-specific polysaccharide antigen ofActinoba-cillus actinomycetemcomitansis an unusual sugar, 6-deoxy-D-talose.Guanosinediphosphate (GDP)-6-deoxy-D-talose is the activated sugar nucleotide form of 6-deoxy-D-talose, which has been identified as a constituent of only a few microbial polysaccharides. In this paper, we identify two genes encoding GDP-6-deoxy-D-talose synthetic enzymes, GDP-a-D-mannose 4,6-dehydratase and GDP-4-keto-6-deoxy-D-mannose reductase, in the gene cluster required for the biosynthesis of serotype a-specific polysaccharide anti-gen from A.

However, duroquinol (fully reduced chemically) was an accepted substrate. Iron is also required and cannot be substituted by Cu 2+ ,Zn 2+ or Mn 2+ . ...

G-protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 (GRK2) is known to specifically phosphorylate the agonist-bound forms of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). This strict specificity is due at least partly to activation of GRK2 by agonist-bound GPCRs, in which basic residues in intracellular regions adjacent to transmembrane segments are thought to be involved. Tubulin was found to be phosphorylated by GRK2, but it remains unknown if tubulin can also serve as both a substrate and an activator for GRK2.
