Bệnh nhân này cách đây sáu năm khi trình bệnh (initial presentation) lúc tiên khởi ở stage 2 (T3N0M0) (xem bảng TNM đính kèm trong thư trước) . Ở giai đoạn (stage) này thì median survival ở 5 năm vào khoảng 50 % sống sót. Vấn đề adjuvant chemotherapy: ở thời điểm đó vẫn còn controversial (có nhiều ý kiến khác nhau): (a) có nên cho adjuvant chemotherapy hay không? (b) nếu cho thì cho thuốc gì? Về điểm (a): Bệnh nhân này tương đối còn trẻ vậy nên nghĩ về việc cho hơn là không cho, quyết định này...
