This report describes a rare case of pancreatic metastasis in a 56-year-old woman with a past medical history of malignancy. The patient initially presented with right breast cancer in 2008, which was treated with a modified radical mastectomy followed by adjuvant chemotherapy.

To establish a nomogram to predict the probability of survival of patients with stage II/III gastric cancer (GC) who received incomplete peri-operative adjuvant chemotherapy (PAC). The medical records of stage II/III GC patients who received curative resection and 1 to 5 cycles of PAC from two tertiary hospitals were retrospectively reviewed.

Apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic polypeptide-like 2 (APOBEC2) is associated with nucleotide alterations in the transcripts of tumor-related genes which are contributed to carcinogenesis. Expression and prognosis value of APOBEC2 in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) remains unclear

This study aims to develop a nomogram integrating inflammation (NLR), Prognostic Nutritional Index (PNI), and EBV DNA (tumor burden) to achieve personalized treatment and prediction for stage IVA NPC. Furthermore, it endeavors to pinpoint specific subgroups that may derive significant benefits from S-1 adjuvant chemotherapy.

Oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy (OIPN) in general and painful OIPN in particular is a debilitating late effect that severely affects cancer survivors’ quality of life and causes premature cessation of potentially lifesaving treatment. No preventive treatments and no effective treatment for chronic OIPN exist despite many attempts.

For high-risk stageIImismatch repair defcient (dMMR) colon cancers, the benefit of adjuvant chemo‑ therapy remains debatable. The principal aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic value of high-risk factors and the effect of oxaliplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy among dMMR stageIIcolon cancers.

Although temozolomide (TMZ) has been used as a standard adjuvant chemotherapeutic agent for primary glioblastoma (GBM), treating isocitrate dehydrogenase wild-type (IDH-wt) cases remains challenging due to intrinsic and acquired drug resistance.

Clonal hematopoiesis (CH) frequently progresses after chemotherapy or radiotherapy. We evaluated the clinical impact of preoperative CH on the survival outcomes of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who underwent surgical resection followed by adjuvant therapy.

Pleomorphic liposarcoma is the rarest subtype of liposarcoma. Pleomorphic liposarcomas are generally unresponsive to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Moreover, metastasis in the liver, as the first and sole site, from a primary extremity soft tissue sarcoma, including pleomorphic liposarcoma, is extremely rare. Information regarding the appropriate management of these lesions is limited.

Primary carcinosarcoma of the bladder is a rare and highly aggressive tumor, representing less than 1% of all bladder neoplasms. There is no specific treatment guideline has for carcinosarcoma of the bladder, and majority of published patients was treated exclusively by surgery.

Adjuvant chemotherapy is necessary for radical resection of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) with a high risk of recurrence (T2–4, N1). However, its use in the treatment of early-stage ICC remains controversial. This study aimed to investigate the role of adjuvant chemotherapy after radical resection in patients with early-stage ICC (T1N0M0).

Although the prognosis of locally advanced cervical cancer has improved dramatically, survival for those with stage IIIB-IVA disease or lymph nodes metastasis remains poor. It is believed that the incorporation of intensity-modulated radiotherapy into the treatment of cervical cancer might yield an improved loco-regional control, whereas more cycles of more potent chemotherapy after the completion of concurrent chemotherapy was associated with a diminished distant metastasis.

Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) and perineural invasion (PNI) can indicate poor survival outcomes in colorectal cancer, but few studies have focused on stage III colon cancer. The current study aimed to confirm the prognostic value of LVI and PNI and identify patients who could benefit from a complete duration of adjuvant chemotherapy based on the two pathological factors.

Many patients treated for breast cancer (BC) complain about cognitive difficulties affecting their daily lives. Recently, sleep disturbances and circadian rhythm disruptions have been brought to the fore as potential contributors to cognitive difficulties in patients with BC. Yet, studies on these factors as well as their neural correlates are scarce.
