This study aimed to determine the factors influencing Vietnamese tea export quantities, namely, the internal factors of national tea production, productivity, and cultivated areas, and the external factors of export price and world tea export quantity (excluding Vietnam).

The article focuses on analyzing and evaluating a number of situations related to the substainable production and export of agricultural products of Vietnam in the context that trade protection measures continue to increase in the current period. The Brexit vote in the UK raised doubts and uncertainties across all of the European Union and especially the Irish agri-food sector, which exports over 41% of its products to the UK. In this study we will explain that the Brexit brings an uncertainty that affects decision making. Agri-food business owners are not completely aware of how this event can affect their business and what they can do to be prepared to face it. Through interviews we will be able to demonstrate that the Irish farmers need to be more proactive and could use some guidance.

In 2003, Vietnam exported US$43 million of high value fruit to high-income countries and imported US$14 million of fruit and vegetables.
