The paper results showed that the more than ten years mangrove community is a stable forest biome. Mangroves from 10 years old should be planned with different species to increase the diversity in species structure and enhance the ability to stabilize the community and withstand changes in coastal habitats.

The diversity and ecology of spiders were studied in the Ngoc Thanh buffer zone of Tam Dao National Park, the Cuc Phuong buffer zone of Cuc Phuong National Park, and the Ba Trai buffer zone of Ba Vi National Park. Spiders were collected by five methods: pitfall traps, litter sampling, tree beating, sweep netting, and visual searches in four types of habitats including secondary forests, artificial forests, shrublands, and home gardens.

The present study was conducted to assess the floristics, structure and diversity of dry tropical forests in buffer zone of Achanakmaar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve. The biosphere is well recognized for its species richness and biological diversity. However, the increasing anthropogenic activities are causing rapid degradation of native ecosystem, especially the buffer and transition zones are severely affected and becoming ecologically fragile by disappearance of many valuable species. A line transect survey was conducted for inventorying floristic composition.

The present study was conducted to quantify the standing litter crop and litter fall production under dry tropical forests in buffer zone of Achanakmaar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve (AABR). Five major forest types viz., mixed forest, Sal Mixed Forest, Mixed Teak forest, Teak Mixed forest and Bamboo brakes were identified after floristic survey in the study area. Standing litter crop was recorded by randomly laying three 0.5 x 0.5 m sub quadrates on forest floor in each marked sample quadrate (20 x 20 m) of a forest type.

In recent decades, unsustainable use of resources and the implementation of dams upstream accompanied with sea level rise acceleration has led to an extreme mangrove depletion, increase of coastal vulnerability in the Mekong delta. Extensive shrimp culture, where mangrove forest have been turned into aquaculture ponds are adding to the problem. The aim was to assess the current situation and find solutions which go in hand with the Building with Nature (BwN) concept for two selected locations along the Vinh Chau coast.

Hybridization between wild and domestic bovine occurs widely due to the overlapping of the natural habitat of the wild and human farm animals. Due to the loss of habitat, the number of wild gaur (Bos gaurus) in Vietnam was in serious decline. Since 2009, a male wild gaur (Bos gaurus) has appeared and incorporated with female domestic cows (Bos taurus) in buffer zone Phuoc Binh National Park, on the border with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan provinces.

The main problems encountered with legal frameworks are that they are too weak or conflicting. Country experiences range from Albania, which would like to move towards the EU Water Framework Directive but currently has a legal system that has little in common with the EU; to Peru and Samoa, where national laws can conflict with traditional practices and customs. The main problems encountered with strategic planning, national policies, transboundary agreements and integrated water resources plans, are that they are non-existent or inadequate.
