The study applies a questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, classroom observations and teaching materials to collect data from seven teachers at Le Huu Trac (LHT) High School. The findings reveal that most teachers appreciate socio-cultural integrations (SCI) and agree that SCI does not prevent progress in terms of language accuracy.

The purpose of this study was to explore of the role of language switching in a group of Iranian bilingual students while they were involved in mathematical problem solving. Language switching has been viewed as a common practice in bilingual students in their classroom, particularly for mathematics learning. In bilingual students, using their first language to solve at least part of a problem may facilitate mathematical thinking and lead to a successful problem solving process.

This study examines teachers’ attitudes towards the correction of spoken errors through one-to-one interviews and a belief questionnaire. It also investigates the relationship between those standpoints and their teaching practice in classroom context and accordingly suggests more effective ways to deal with students’ spoken errors. This study was conducted at some universities in Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. The objectives aimed at finding out the similarities and differences in teachers’ and students’ beliefs about classroom interactions in large non-English majored classes and how teachers’ and students’ beliefs about classroom interactions corresponded to their actual practice. Data were collected from questionnaires for 100 teachers teaching English to non-English majors and 100 students. Besides, semi-structured interviews were conducted with representative teachers and students from both groups.
