This paper presents methods for controlling a real model using the S7-400 controller with SCL language (Structured Control Language). The two controllers designed are the hybrid Neural Network Neural-PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller and the RBF (Radial Basis Function)- PID controller.

The article focuses on developing an adaptive electronic stability controller for electric cars modelled on software MatlabSimulink. Design a vehicle stability controller within the scope of surveying the slippage of four tyres in the stability limit ellipse corresponding to the driving angle when using a fuzzy adaptive electronic stability controller (Fuzzy-ESC) compared to compared with the electronic stability control swarm optimization controller (PSO-ESP), it minimizes skids and vehicle rollovers during obstacle avoidance, lane changing, corner entry/exit and sudden acceleration.

Magnetic bearing systems have received much attention in the research community for the past decades. Its inherent nonlinearity and open-loop instability present challenges for controller design. This thesis investigates and designs model predictive control (MPC) systems for an experimental Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) laboratory system. A host-target development environment of real-time control system with hardware in the loop (HIL) is used for implementation of the predictive control systems. The merits of the class algorithms include its ability to handle imposed hard constraints on the system and perform on-line optimization. This thesis investigates design and implementation of continuous time model predictive control using Laguerre polynomials and extends the design approaches proposed in to include intermittent predictive control, as well as to include the case of the nonlinear predictive control.

The main focus of this thesis is on the application of a model predictive control (MPC) method to devise an ABS for a BBW vehicle. Unlike the traditional ABS control algorithms which are based on a trial and error method, the MPC based ABS algorithm aims to utilizes the behaviour of the model to optimize the wheel slip dynamics subject to system constraints. Performance of the proposed wheel slip controller is validated through Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-inthe-Loop (HiL) simulation.
