This paper addresses this gap by analyzing the convergence rates of several Ishikawa-type iterative processes to a common fixed point of contraction mappings in Banach spaces with graphs.

The result of the research showed that the company's reliance on process standardization and industrial standards was relatively high and the adoption rate for industrial standards are the highest. The company's response rate to its customers in terms of flexibility and delivery is not high and convergent for both variables. The novelty of this study stems from the introduction of critical influences that determine an effective employment of lean production to Syrian Manufacturing Companies.

The negative-binomial sum is an extension of a geometric sum. It has been arisen from the necessity to resolve practical problems in telecommunications, network analysis, stochastic finance and insurance mathematics, etc. Up to the present, the topics related to negative-binomial sums like asymptotic distributions and rates of convergence have been investigated by many mathematicians. However, in a lot of various situations, the results concerned the rates of convergence for negative-binomial sums are still restrictive.

In this paper, on the base of the discrepancy principle for regularization parameter choice, the convergence rates of the regularized solution as well as its Galerkin approximations for nonlinear ill-posed problems with m-accretive perturbations are established without demanding the weak continuity of the duality mapping of the Banach spaces.

The convergence rates for the regularized solutions is also shown under ordinary conditions in the theory of nonlinear ill-posed problems. We also give a numerical example as an illustration.

The aim of this paper is to study convergence rates of the regularized solutions in connection with the finite-dimensional approximations for the operator equation of Hammerstein type x+ F2F1(x)=f in reflexive Banach spaces under the perturbations for not only the operators Fi,i=1,2, but also f.

Cloning and over-expression of human glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (Glc6P dehydrogenase) has for the first time allowed a detailed kinetic study of a preparation that is genetically homogeneous and in which all the protein molecules are of identical age. The steady-state kinetics of the recombinant enzyme, studied by fluorimetric initial-rate measurements, gave converging linear Lineweaver–Burk plots as expected for a ternary-complex mechanism.

We characterize precisely the possible rate of decay of the anti-analytic half of a trigonometric series converging to zero almost everywhere. 1. Introduction 1.1. In 1916, D. E. Menshov constructed an example of a nontrivial trigonometric series on the circle T ∞ (1) n=−∞ c(n)eint which converges to zero almost everywhere (a.e.). Such series are called nullseries. This result was the origin of the modern theory of uniqueness in Fourier analysis, see [Z59], [B64], [KL87], [KS94]. Clearly for such a series |c(n)|2 = ∞.

MONOTONE FINITE DIFFERENCE DOMAIN DECOMPOSITION ALGORITHMS AND APPLICATIONS TO NONLINEAR SINGULARLY PERTURBED REACTION-DIFFUSION PROBLEMS IGOR BOGLAEV AND MATTHEW HARDY Received 16 September 2004; Revised 21 December 2004; Accepted 11 January 2005 This paper deals with monotone finite difference iterative algorithms for solving nonlinear singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion problems of elliptic and parabolic types. Monotone domain decomposition algorithms based on a Schwarz alternating method and on box-domain decomposition are constructed.

RATE OF CONVERGENCE OF SOLUTIONS OF RATIONAL DIFFERENCE EQUATION OF SECOND ORDER ˇ ´ ´ S. KALABUSIC AND M. R. S. KULENOVIC Received 13 August 2003 and in revised form 7 October 2003 We investigate the rate of convergence of solutions of some special cases of the equation xn+1 = (α + βxn + γxn−1 )/(A + Bxn + Cxn−1 ), n = 0,1,..., with positive parameters and nonnegative initial conditions. We give precise results about the rate of convergence of the solutions that converge to the equilibrium or period-two solution by using Poincar´ ’s e theorem and an improvement of Perron’s...

Stability Issues in RNN Architectures Perspective The focus of this chapter is on stability and convergence of relaxation realised through NARMA recurrent neural networks. Unlike other commonly used approaches, which mostly exploit Lyapunov stability theory, the main mathematical tool employed in this analysis is the contraction mapping theorem (CMT), together with the fixed point iteration (FPI) technique. This enables derivation of the asymptotic stability (AS) and global asymptotic stability (GAS) criteria for neural relaxive systems.
