In operating the distribution network, the problem of reconfiguration distribution network according to the change of load to reduce power loss has partly reduced the operation cost of the distribution network but it can impact the reliability of power supply to the load.

Buckling and postbuckling behaviors of porous functionally graded graphene platelets-reinforced composite (porous FG-GPLRC) cylindrical shells with stiffeners subjected to external pressures are presented in this paper. Three distribution types of porosity in the shells are considered. The smeared technique for stiffeners is employed to model the mechanical behaviors of the stiffened shells.

In this study, the Ritz variational method is used to analyze and solve the bending problem of rectangular functionally graded material plate with general boundary conditions and subject to some types of load distribution over the entire plate domain. Based on the Kirchoff plate theory, the equilibrium equations are obtained by minimizing the total potential energy.

This paper presents a theoretical study that describes the fiber bridging mechanism under tensile stress using a closed-form analytical function. This proposed analytical model allows estimating the stress at a crack opening where the fiber orientation is represented by a Gaussian-like periodic distribution function.

The buckling and post-buckling of magneto-electric-elastic (MEE) sandwich plate are presented. The core layer consists of epoxy matrix reinforced with graphene origami auxetic metalmaterial in which the volume fraction of graphene origami is assumed to vary the thickness direction in three different distributions.

In the present report, a novel concept of frequency response function (FRF) is introduced for piezoelectric beam. First, a model of Timoshenko beam bonded with a piezoelectric layer is established and used for deriving the conventional frequency response function acknowledged as mechanical frequency response function (MERF). Then, the output charge produced in the piezoelectric layer is calculated from the MFRF and therefore obtained frequency-dependent function is called electrical frequency response function (EFRF) for the integrated beam.

In this work, the free vibration analysis of Timoshenko microbeams made of the Functionally Graded Material (FGM) on the Winkler–Paternak elastic foundation based on the Modified Coupled Stress Theory (MCST) is investigated. Material characteristics of the beam vary throughout the thickness according to the power distribution and are estimated though Mori–Tanaka, Hashin–Shtrikman and Voigt homogenization techniques.

In this work, we use two available models of nuclear density distributions obtained from the electron scattering experiments and the density functional theory (DFT). The OM results show that the former gives better description of the 12C nuclear density distribution than the latter. Therefore, the DFT should be worked on for improving the nuclear density description of 12C in the future.

The study results for dynamic response of PFGCP present the effect of geometrical ratio, elastic foundations: Winkler foundation and Paskternak foundation; loads: mechanical load and thermal load; and the material properties and distribution type of porosity. The results are shown numerically and are determined by using Galerkin methods and Fourth-order Runge-Kutta method.

In this work, we use molecular dynamic (MD) simulation to study the structure transition and crystallization of amorphous silica (SiO2) under compression. The structural evolution of amorphous SiO2 is explained through radial distribution function, coordination number distribution, bond angle distribution and visualization.

Quantifying the multiple processes which control and modulate the extent of oral bioavailability for drug candidates is critical to accurate projection of human pharmacokinetics (PK). Understanding how gut wall metabolism and hepatic elimination factor into first-pass clearance of drugs has improved enormously. Typically, the cytochrome P450s, uridine 5′- diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferases and sulfotransferases, are the main enzyme classes responsible for drug metabolism. Knowledge of the isoforms functionally expressed within organs of first-pass clearance, their anatomical topology (e.

The genus Litsea Lam. (Lauraceae) and Lepisanthes Blume (Sapindaceae) are wildly distributed in Vietnam, especially in the mountainous areas. The reports in the literatures indicated that these two genus contain many constituents with interesting structures and potential biological activities. In order to find interesting substances for development of new pharmaceutical ingredients or functional food products we would like to conduct the resarch thesis ‘‘Study on Chemical constituents and biological activities of Litsea glutinosa (Lour.)
