A corotational finite element for large-displacement elastic analysis of semi-rigid planar steel frames is proposed in this paper. Two zero-length rotational springs are attached to the ends of the Euler-Bernoulli element formulated in corotational context to simulate the flexibility of the beam-to-column connections and then the equilibrium equations of the hybrid element, including the stiffness matrix which contains the stiffness terms of the rotational springs, are established based on the static condensation procedure.

Regular observations were made using optical microscope and the images were recorded using a digital camera attached to the microscope. One of the easiest and efficient way of water conservation to solve drinking water scarcity is rooftop water harvesting. To evaluate the performance of the first flush with micromesh filter system, inflow and outflow of the rooftop water samples were analysed for pH, EC, TDS, SAL and TSS parameters. In general, the PH, electrical conductivity, and TDS of the roof water samples were within the drinking water standards and the first flush with micromesh filter system was found to reduce TDS values.

The importance of proteoglycans for secretionof proteolytic enzymes was studied in the murine macrophage cell line J774. Untreated or 4b-phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA)-stimulated macrophages were treated with hexyl-b-D-thioxyloside to interfere with the attachment of glycosaminoglycan chains to their respective protein cores. Activation of the J774 macrophages with PMA resulted in increased secretion of trypsin-like serine proteinase activity.
