natural fiber for the construction of hybrid bio-composites. In the current research project, a thorough analysis of the use of soy-PF resin for the creation of composites reinforced with jute was conducted. A novel and practical cutlery material was created after the mechanical properties were evaluated and optimized. In order to study the value addition of these newly proposed biocomposite materials as an ecological alternative in terms of natural resources versus synthetic resources, variables such as hardness, cytotoxicity, and degrading qualities of composites were also explored.

Adaptive Neuro-Based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithms were utilized to produce numerical tools for predicting the bond strength between the concrete surface and carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets. From the relevant literature, a credible database encompassing 242 test specimens was developed, along with six input factors that primarily determine bond strength.

Eco-responsible flame retardant treatments with some resistance to washing are of considerable interest in the sale and applications of technical garments and home textiles. Thus, in the present study, a nano-hybrid composite based on kaolinite-TiO2 was prepared and incorporated into the fibers of cotton fabric through a more sustainable route compared to existing commercial processes.

Impact of resistant starch accumulation on chemical composition and grain quality of maize genotypes
The present study disclose the nutritional characteristics of high and low resistant starch (RS) containing maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes and determined in order to identify different correlations between them. A set of 5 high and 5 low RS containing selfed maize genotypes, mostly hybrids of public as well as private sector widely grown and analyzed for the carbohydrate profile (amylose, amylopectin and starch), protein, oil, ash and crude fiber content.

The present investigation was carried out during 2012-13 at ARS, Siruguppa with an objective of determine the extent of commercial Heterosis for fiber quality traits in F1 hybrids obtained by crossing 10 parents in half dialle fashion. Several hybrid combinations showed very good per se performance for all the traits under study and commercial Heterosis for 2.5% span length. These lines can sever as a potential donor for genetic improvement of cotton after further evaluation, fixation and selection.

Genetics of quality parameters and their associations with grain yield and its component traits have a direct bearing on devising effective strategies for breeding biofortified crop cultivars. A newly developed 54 hybrids of pearl millet showed large genetic variability for yield and nutritional traits. Correlation studies revealed that single plant yield has positive significant correlation with the agronomic traits viz., plant height, number of productive tillers, test weight, single head grain weight and quality traits viz.

In present work hybrid composite laminated plate is prepared by mixing Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Graphene powder in glass fiber reinforced composite plates. The hand lay-up process has been adopted for preparing the composite plates. The antisymmetric cross ply (00 /900 /00 /900 ) composite laminated plates are considered for analysis. The hardness and Impact test on hybrid composite laminated plate is to be carried out on Brinell’s Hardness test and Charpy V - Notch Test.

Cotton is one of the most important fiber and cash crop of India and plays a dominant role in the industrial and agricultural economy of the country. Sixty crosses with thirteen parents and three checks viz., PKV-Hy-4, NHH-206 and NHH- 44 were grown in Randomized Block Design with two replications. The results showed that the tester AKH07R possessed the highest GCA effect for the seed cotton yield per hectare and also exhibited high GCA (in desirable direction) for the traits, number of sympodia, number of bolls per, harvest index and cotton seed yield per plant.

Six lines and seven testers of Gossypium hirsutum L. varying in seed cotton yield and fiber traits were assessed for hybrid vigor using a line × tester system across three different locations.
