In this paper, geometrical nonlinear flutter analysis of functionally graded carbon nanotubes reinforced composite plates is presented. The governing equations of the system are obtained using the Mindlin plate theory and von Karman geometric nonlinearity. The linear piston theory is utilized to determine the aerodynamic pressure. Applying the Hamilton principle, equations of motion of a system are derived in the matrix form, and then the finite element method is used to obtain the discretized equations.

An analytical approach of nonlinear buckling and postbuckling analysis of core-corrugated functionally graded carbon nanotubes reinforced composite (FG- CNTRC) cylindrical panels under axial compression is presented in the present study. A homogenization technique is applied for the corrugated core with thermal effects. The nonlinear stability equation system of panels is formulated by using the Donnell thin shell theory with the von Kármán geometrical nonlinearities.

This article presents the pseudospectral method to calculate numerical solutions for nonlinear Duffing differential equations on the interval [–1, 1]. This method is based on the differential matrix using the Chebyshev Gauss – Lobatto points. To find numerical solutions of the nonlinear Duffing differential equations, we have built an iterative procedure. The software is used in calculating in this study is Mathematica 10.4. The obtained results show that this method has high accuracy with very small errors.

Theoretical results for the AME field is numerically evaluated, plotted and discussed for the specific CQWIP AlGaAs/GaAs. The result shows that the dependence of the AME field on the temperature of the system is nonlinear.
