The purpose behind the supply chain integration is to obtain efficiency in operational activities and effective strategic development through coordination in the supply chain. This research paper attempts to highlight the scarcity of articles published in the field of Sales & Operations Planning (S& OP) in supply chain management. The S & OP process allows Supply Chain Managers to balance demand and supply. Literature in leading journals are limited in the area of S & OP and there is a need to address this limitation to aid efforts to complement the demand planning process in smart industries. In 2010, it was recorded that only 15 papers were published and less than a handful of articles were written throughout the mid-2000s.

In this study, combinations of aerial images captured using UAV and geo-processing software, ArcGIS, are promoted towards automated approach for counting shipping containers. The overlapping UAV aerial images are post-processed using photogrammetric technique to create Digital Surface Model (DSM) which represents the ground and above surface feature’s elevations. This study focused solely on the companies in the construction industry and data collection was on a single respondent basis. The findings of this study underline some implication and suggests that construction industry players adopt and emphasise such orientations in order to enhance their performance – operational and customer performance in particular. Future study may explore other industry and how it influenced channel members commitment to enhance company performance.

A questionnaire survey has been distributed for this study and result showed that there are several aspects under each of segments that can lead to customer satisfaction by using the PLS-SEM and IPMA analysis. The findings in this study can be used by other hotel operators to have a thoughtful mind on the factors that driven customers’ preferences and satisfaction that will aid in designing a message with better persuasion and at the same time attract more tourists to come and visit Malaysia.

The primary objective of this study is to examine the factors that influence the implementation of Industry 4.0 among Malaysian and Nigerian Small and Medium Enterprises. This study examines 265 Malaysian listed firms for year 2015 (during) and 2016 (after) GST implementation period. The OLS regression results report that there is significant relationship of corporate governance in firm operating performance particularly during and after GST implementation. Board independent, CEO age and family CEO have positively contribute to sales growth during and after GST implementation. For working capital effectiveness during and after GST implementation, the CEO age and family CEO delineate significant positive association with operating performance (current ratio).

This study investigates the impact of the capabilities of supply chain management on the performance of the food industry in Thailand. Data were collected from the mangers of the supply chain of the firm that are listed in the Department of Industrial Work Thailand by distributing the survey through the mail. PLS-SEM has been used to test the links between the variables under study. The results of the multiple regressions revealed that effective SCM capabilities could increase the performance of the firm.

Present study is ascertain to elaborate the role of green supply chain management towards the suppliers’ performance. Further, the role of social capital as a potential mediator is also explored in the Thai business to business (B2B) context. Data was collected by using the survey questionnaires. Different statistical tests for measurement model and hypothesis testing respectively. This study investigates the role of supply chain accounting information system to create competitive advantage for Iraqi General Commission for Taxation. Interviews were conducted from selected officials of Taxation department. The results showed that all the respondents agreed that supply chain accounting information system is a useful approach to create competitive advantage in term of cost reduction, enhancing operational efficiency, increasing the scope of organization and strengthen the internal control system.
