In the paper, 3L-MPC algorithm with fast calculation is proposed to control many objectives such as unit power factor, capacitor voltage balance and switching frequency reduction. In addition, the outer PI controller is used to adjust the DC-bus voltage. The simulation results demonstrated the excellent performance of the proposed method, both in transient and steady states.

This paper proposes a method to identify the optimal operating point fora photovoltaic power system. With theinformation on the power's solar irradiance, the temperature at P-N junction, and the generated power limit, an algorithm is proposed to calculate points on the voltage-power curve based on an utterly mathematical model of the generation, iterative,and bisectional techniques.

This article analyzes and evaluates the impact of the Yen Dinh solar power plant in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam when connected to the 22kV power grid such as: reverse power flow, overvoltage, influence of harmonics, changes operational methods for placing economic capacitors and coordinating protection when the plant is connected to the distribution grid are also calculated and analyzed.

The study evaluated the results of IOL power calculation using Shammas PL no history formula in eyes with previous laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). This was a longitudinal follow-up descriptive analysis study. IOL power was calculated with Shammas PL formula with the ASCRS online calculator.

The free energy, thermal lattice expansion coefficient, specific heats at the constant volume and those at the constant pressure, CV and CP , are derived in closed analytic forms in terms of the power moments of the atomic displacements.

The set of intracavity field equations describing the evolution of intra-cavity pumping, Stokes and anti-Stokes powers of Raman laser is presented. Most attention is given to intra-cavity competition of two Raman waves, which depends on cavity properties, frequency shift and phase mismatch. The calculated results are based on Ge-doped and D2-gas-in glass fiber lasers at CW-regime and pulse-pumped regime.

In this study, we use MIXOPTIM, a Monte-Carlo simulator of the behavior of a mix of power sources on a territory, to evaluate the performance of the present EU power mix. After a validation on the French mix, we applied it to the whole EU territory and made variational calculations around the present mix to evaluate the performance impacts induced by small changes in installed renewable power and nuclear power.
