Graduation thesis "The application of autonomous lexical learning of first-year non-English major - A case study at Hai Phong University of Management and Technology" aims to help the first-year non-English major students understand the importance of vocabulary learning and its relationship to listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The article then goes deep into the investigation of the main method for non-major students at HPU to learn the language. Finally, the topic offers some suggestions for efficient vocabulary learning to aid English learners in expanding their vocabulary.

This study investigates students’ expectations and experiences of blended learning at Hanoi Open University, Vietnam. In recent years, the Vietnamese government has produced a number of polices advocating the use of ICT in education, including blended learning, aligning this implementation with its goals to modernise. While there has been considerable research around blended learning in higher education in the west, including in the USA, UK and Australia, research in Vietnam is relatively new.

The Australian house building industry has seen an increase in the average house completion time in the past decade. This increase in some Australian states was quite dramatic. For instance, Western Australia faced a seventy percent increase in the average house completion time during this period. Since houses make up more than seventy-five percent of dwellings in Australia, this increase affected a large proportion of housing supply in the country.

This thesis aims to research on overview of automatic test case generating, symbolic execution applied into automatic test case generating. The modeling techniques based on Automata and Bitvector are also studied in this thesis. Apart from that, the analysis and evaluation of available test case generating methods on different constraint are mentioned. The quality and effectiveness of test cases generated by using symbolic execution are assessed.

This thesis is divided into three parts included theory foundation, Mobile sector and VMS analysis and recommendations. The Hypercompetition theory of D’Aveni (1994) is reviewed in this chapter by some main parts such as: definition, advantages, four arenas and New 7S’s Model. The thesis will discuss on this theory. The New 7S’s Model will be applied to suggest suitable solution for VMS to enhance its competitiveness.

The study acknowledges some limitations such as a conclusion section as well as the order of the moves is still neglected. In addition, there is a lack of the MCRs written in English by Vietnamese authors. Despite these limitations, the study is hoped to provide some pedagogical implications for teaching writing in Vietnamese settings to encourage student to be aware of the moves when writing a MCR.

The phenomenon of Mirror Symmetry, in its “classical” version, was first observed for Calabi-Yau manifolds, and mathematicians were introduced to it through a series of remarkable papers [20], [13], [38], [40], [15], [30]. Some very strong conjectures have been made about its topological interpretation – e.g. the Strominger-Yau-Zaslow conjecture. In a different direction, the framework of mirror symmetry was extended by Batyrev, Givental, Hori, Vafa, etc. to the case of Fano manifolds.

We show that every smooth toric variety (and many other algebraic spaces as well) can be realized as a moduli space for smooth, projective, polarized varieties. Some of these are not quasi-projective. This contradicts a recent paper (Quasi-projectivity of moduli spaces of polarized varieties, Ann. of Math. 159 (2004) 597–639.). A polarized variety is a pair (X, H) consisting of a smooth projective variety X and a linear equivalence class of ample divisors H on X. For simplicity, we look at the case when X is smooth, numerical and linear equivalence coincide for divisors on X, H is very...

The divisibility properties of Dirichlet L-functions in infinite families of characters have been studied by Iwasawa, Ferrero and Washington. The families considered by them are obtained by twisting an arbitrary Dirichlet character with all characters of p-power conductor for some prime p. One has to distinguish divisibility by p (the case considered by Iwasawa and FerreroWashington [FeW]) and by a prime = p (considered by Washington [W1], [W2]). Ferrero and Washington proved the vanishing of the Iwasawa µ-invariant of any branch of the Kubota-Leopoldt p-adic L-function. ...

For the complex parabolic Ginzburg-Landau equation, we prove that, asymptotically, vorticity evolves according to motion by mean curvature in Brakke’s weak formulation. The only assumption is a natural energy bound on the initial data. In some cases, we also prove convergence to enhanced motion in the sense of Ilmanen. Introduction In this paper we study the asymptotic analysis, as the parameter ε goes to zero, of the complex-valued parabolic Ginzburg-Landau equation for functions uε :

This paper is the fourth in a series where we describe the space of all embedded minimal surfaces of fixed genus in a fixed (but arbitrary) closed 3manifold. The key is to understand the structure of an embedded minimal disk in a ball in R3 . This was undertaken in [CM3], [CM4] and the global version of it will be completed here; see the discussion around Figure 12 for the local case and [CM15] for some more details. Our main results are Theorem 0.1 (the lamination theorem) and Theorem 0.2 (the one-sided curvature estimate). ...
