If there exists a set of canonical classes on a compact Hamiltonian-T -space in the sense of R Goldin and S Tolman, we derive some formulas for certain equivariant structure constants in terms of other equivariant structure constants and the values of canonical classes restricted to some fixed points.

We start from a short summary of our principal result from [KK]: An example of a complex algebraic surface which is not deformation equivalent to its complex conjugate and which, moreover, has no homeomorphisms reversing the canonical class. Then, we generalize this result to higher dimensions and construct several series of higher dimensional compact complex manifolds having no homeomorphisms reversing the canonical class.

In the symplectic category there is a ‘connect sum’ operation that glues symplectic manifolds by identifying neighborhoods of embedded codimension two submanifolds. This paper establishes a formula for the Gromov-Witten invariants of a symplectic sum Z = X#Y in terms of the relative GW invariants of X and Y . Several applications to enumerative geometry are given. Gromov-Witten invariants are counts of holomorphic maps into symplectic manifolds.
