Lead-free barium titanate based Ba1-xSrxTiO3 thin films (x = 0 ÷ 0.45) have been deposited onto Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si(100) substrate via sol–gel technique. The films were crystallized at temperature of 650 °C for 30 min in the air. The experimental data displayed that microstructure, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the films were strongly influenced by the Sr concentration.

This study investigates the effects of thermo-mechanical processing parameters, specifically cold rolling and annealing, on the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of AA2024 alloy, employing a Box-Behnken experimental design. The deformation during cold rolling, the annealing temperature, and the time annealing were varied to evaluate their individual and combined effects on the UTS.

Zinc oxide is highly sought after for several applications in biology, optoelectronics, electronics, and sensing. Zinc oxide nanorods exhibit a high exciton binding energy and a wide direct band gap, making them an attractive material for ultraviolet optoelectronic devices in the compound semiconductor field.

This study involved the deposition of NiO thin films onto Al2O3/glass substrates using RFmagnetron reactive sputtering. Then, the influence of heating temperatures on crystal structure, surface morphology, transmittance, and optical band gap of NiO films was investigated via different characterization techniques.

Land use and land cover (LULC) change is a key factor influencing land surface temperature (LST) dynamics. This change reflects partly global warming and climate change at local and regional scales. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of LULC on LST change in Lac Duong mountainous district, Lam Dong province in the past 10 years (2013 - 2023), and predict the LST change in 2030.

In international pistol shooting competition the performance improvement needed to be able to move into a medal winning position in a final from fourth position is 1.5 points (Bedford et al., 2012). It may be expected therefore, that by providing a method of reducing tremor resulting in a corresponding performance improvement. This research consists of two studies investigating the physiological response and the shooting performance of elite pistol shooters.

The proposed research aims to investigate the influences of temperature on the water retention behaviour of deformable unsaturated soil. Volume change caused by temperature variation will be taken into consideration. This research will produce a better understanding and interpretation of thermal effects on SWCCs by providing experimental results for deformable unsaturated soils.

Purpose: The purpose of thesis is to study the influence of temperature, pressure and dopant on the diffusion coefficient and ionic conductivity of the bulk material as CeO2, c-ZrO2, YDC and YSZ. For YDC and YSZ thin films, we find the thickness dependence of the lattice constant, diffusion coefficient and ionic conductivity

Anharmonic effective potential, local force constant and correlation effects in XAFS of BCC crystals
Analytical expressions for the anharmonic effective potential, local force constant, Displacement-displacement Correlation Function (DCF) CR and Debye-Waller factor described by the Mean Square Relative Displacement (MSRD) σ2 and by the Mean Square Displacement (MSD) u2of bcc crystals in the X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (XAFS) have been derived. The effective interatomic potential of the system has been considered by taking into account the influences of nearest atomic neighbors, and it contains the Morse potential characterizing the interaction of each pair of atoms.

Influence of substitution of 3d metals for Mn on properties of La0.67Ca0.33Mn0.9 TM0.1O3 (TM = Fe, Co, Ni) compounds was studied. Ferromagnetic – paramagnetic and metals – insulator transitions were significantly affected by Mn-site substitution. However, no observable difference was found in their crystal structure from X-ray diffraction analysis. At room temperature the structure characterization of these compounds gave the single phase and structure is the distortion orthorhombic cell with space group symmetry Pnma.

The influence of temperature on cytochromec oxidase (CCO) catalytic activity was studied in the temperature range 240–308 K. Temperatures below 273 K required the inclusion of the osmolyte ethylene glycol. For steady-state activity between 278 and 308 K the activation energy was 12 kcalÆmol )1 ; the molecular activity or turnover number was 12 s )1 at 280K in the absence of ethylene glycol. CCO activity was studied between 240and 277 K in the presence of ethylene glycol.

Temperature has a strong influence on most individual biochemical reac-tions. Despite this, many organisms have the remarkable ability to keep certain physiological fluxes approximately constant over an extended tem-perature range. In this study, we show how temperature compensation can be considered as a pathway phenomenon rather than the result of a single-enzyme property.
