- Work in pair: work out the use of
the pronouns.
- The usage of one(s), someone, no
one, anyone and everybody:
a. One and ones are used to replace a previously mentioned
noun when we do not want to repeat that noun. One replaces
a singular noun, and ones replaces a plural noun.
Ex: Of the three bags, I like the red one (red one = red bag)
b. Someone = somebody: Usually means “an unspecified or
unknown person”. It is used in affirmative sentences and it
is used with a singular verb
Ex: Someone called when you were out.
I heard the ring but I couldn’t answer the phone.
Someone wants to see you
