Prevalence of ESBL and MBL producing Pseudomonas aeruginosa in a tertiary care hospital in Tirunelveli, India

The present study was done to detect Extended spectrum β lactamase and metallo-βlactamase producing isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from various clinical samples from patients admitted in Tirunelveli Government medical college hospital. In this study we studied the prevalence of ESBL and MBL among 112 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates, following standard methods of isolation and identification of these bacteria from clinical materials
