SUMMARY<br />
The gadolinium complexation of triphenylphosphine oxide (TPPO) was demonstrated by its UV-VIS<br />
and infrared spectra. The complex's composition upon the extraction ofGd^* by TPPO from chloride<br />
medium was determined.<br />
