This research proposes a new approach that leverages low-cost digital cameras and deep learning technology for counting and extracting rice grain traits. Our study introduces a preprocessing step to separate rice grain regions from the input image background using color space conversion.

The derived temperature dependences of the peak intensities, separations and half-widths of the separate spectral peaks in the A-band phonon progressions indicate the different trends for vibration-free zero-phonon electronic transition and vibration-related lower-energy electronic transitions to high vibrational levels of the ground electronic state – lower thermal damping and more softened phonon for the zero-phonon transition, also implying the extended defect origin of the A-band photoluminescence.

A belt of Upper Eocene–Lower Oligocene marine sedimentary rocks extends from Kıyıköy on the Black Sea coast to Pınarhisar in the Thrace Basin, suggesting a marine connection between the Black Sea and the Thrace Basin during this period. The Cenozoic succession of this marine corridor was studied in the vicinity of Kıyıköy along two measured stratigraphic sections.

A carbonate build-up, 12 m thick, was formed with some interruptions, through the middle Pleistocene period. For this study, two travertine sections (F and D) were extensively used to figure out palaeoenvironmental and palaeoclimatic proxies. The main precipitation cycles, separated by palaeosol levels, have been described and interpreted from a sedimentological perspective. The carbonate deposits consist of shrubs, crystalline crust, reed, laminated (micritic), pisoids, oncoids, calcite thin rafts and coated gas bubbles, lithoclasts, and palaeosol levels.

In this method, the internal DOFs are separated from the boundary DOFs, and decomposed onto a basis of static modes, and a basis of fixed interface modes [Craig et Bampton, 1968]. This research investigated the report choices used for corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure and the determinants of CSR disclosure of firms listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). Since 2014, firms listed on the SET have been required to disclose CSR in either an annual registration statement or a separate report called a sustainability report. It was, therefore, noteworthy to examine the choices these firms chose in the first year of disclosure.
