This study focused on presenting the views of members of a professional accounting group about intangible assets accounting in Vietnam. This group consisted of 44 random interviewees who were auditors, lecturers, and banking staff, among others.

Organizational behavior plays a crucial role in effective management. However, there is limited research on organizational behaviors in road usage charging management. This study aims to address this gap by identifying six dimensions of organizational behavior through focus group studies. Questionnaires were administered to 138 professionals in Vietnam, and the data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.

This study examines the costs and benefits of traditional rice production as well as of different adaptation methods to saltwater intrusion in the Central Coastal region of Vietnam. Data is collected through a structured questionnaire at the farm household level, focus groups discussion and through key informant interviews. Our results indicate that traditional rice production becomes less profitable as the level of saltwater intrusion on the land plots increases.

The aim of the study was to explore how the logistics, micro, market and macro coordination dimensions affect the availability of artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) in general hospitals in Uganda. Following a qualitative approach, a multiple case study strategy was used. This research article focuses on the two-sided interpersonal impact on the LGBT community by analyzing a case study focusing on a group of people from this community.

The study is focused on the experience of conferencing from the perspective of young people (offenders), their families and supportive others. Of particular interest is the role of the offender’s family (and/or significant others), the nature of their support, and how this impinges on the conference and its outcomes. Although the supporters’ role is pivotal in the conferencing process, its significance has remained largely implicit in the research to date. The objective of the study is to explore this crucial element, using an interpretive approach.

This research project explores the effectiveness of an auditory display prototype for the sonification of internet \(c{o_2}\) emissions to a small user group within their office context. To date, methods do not exist for the reporting of this information to users of personal computing while they perform simple internet enquiries. Underpinning the theoretical development of this project is a focus on auditory displays guided by the concept and forms of auditory displays, together with the auditory perception elements to be considered in their design.

This provided valuable quantitative data about the rate of uptake, types of companies and so on. To complement this, a focus group of selected representatives within the industry was conducted to delve more deeply into motivations behind the decision to adopt the technology and the perceived benefits derived from it.

The research reported here addresses the question of what is required to engage stakeholders to create effective change. It is a case study of one organisation, Melbourne Water, which is located in Victoria, Australia. The research is undertaken using a qualitative, action research framework and a systems psychodynamic perspective. Volunteer participants participated in one-on-one interviews and focus groups. The data is also generated through organisational observations and reflection utilising the methods of supervision and journaling.

The focus of this study is on two of these factors: gender stereotyping and bullying. Gender stereotypes are the beliefs and attitudes that are presumed to distinguish between women and men (Rollero, Glick & Tartaglia, 2014), while bullying can be referred to as the repeated acts of an individual or group with the intention to harman individual holding an inferior position of power (Goldsmid & Howie 2014). While these two separate issues can occur independent of one another and in combination, gender based stereotyping and bullying both form critical barriers to female professionals.

The thesis investigates the nature of this developmental process by employing a constructivistinterpretive research methodology and using qualitative research methods. The empirical data was drawn from group discussions and face-to-face interviews with two distinct cohorts of women. The first cohort comprised twenty-two participants, of which five were adolescent women aged fourteen to sixteen years. The thesis focused only on examining those women who were financially successful and not others.

This study aims to investigate the language used for denoting graduation in English literary discourse. Basing on the theoretical framework of Appraisal proposed by Martin and White (2005), it lays its focus particularly on how intensification as graduation is realized via linguistic and stylistic means in English literary discourse. It examines the speech act of apologizing in American English and Vietnamese focusing on pragmatic transfer.
