  • A field experiment was conducted at fruit research station, Imliya, Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur to study the influence of GA3 and date of sowing on growth and development of custard apple seedlings. Significantly, maximum fresh weight of roots (0.75g), dry weight of root (0.20g) and total dry matter (0.37g) were obtained at 120 days after germination under 500ppm GA3 treatment.   • In the present investigation HUR 105 genotype was selected to see the effect of hydro and hormonal seed priming on growth and development of rice crop. Priming of seeds has been done with distilled water (hydro) and two hormones (Kinetin and salicylic acid) and different growth parameters, such as plant height, number of tillers hill-1 , number of green leaves hill-1 , leaf area hill-1 and leaf area index were studied at different study periods under timely and late sown conditions. Primed seeds increased all the growth parameters in respect to non-primed (control) sets.

  • Presentation article the study showed the significant effect of foliar application of micronutrients on all the parameters. The height of plants in T2 increases by 5ml/1000ml solution. The application of micronutrients solution increases the number of branches per plant in T3 (6.69) by 5ml/l 000ml solution of water as compare to control followed by T2 (7.77), T1 (6.21), and T0 (4.87) respectively. Foliar fertilization improves the growth and development by providing essential nutrients. The T2 (35.87 cm) showed the maximum length of branches per plant.

  • For dietary status, growth, development and health, optimal feeding procedures are needed for infants and young children. In order to meet the difference in dietary demands transition foods need to be included in the diet. Diet diversity refers to all food groups being included in the diet. Even though considerable quantity of inorganic Zn is applied in soil but significant quantity of it gets converted into unavailable forms.   • The researchers evaluated the growth and development abillity of some hybrid maize varieties grown in Spring 2018 in 4 northern and north central provinces including Viet Tri - Phu Tho, Vinh Tuong - Vinh Phuc, Phu Yen - Son La, Yen Dinh - Thanh Hoa.   • Activated charcoal is often used in plant tissue culture to improve cell growth and development by absorbing the beneficial plant growth promoting substances from the media. Thus the main aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of different concentrations of activated charcoal on the recalcitrant varieties of potato. The MS media strength (full and half) did not influence the plant growth and development of potato varieties as both the strengths did equally well in combination with lower concentration of activated charcoal (200mg/l).

Quintal Nendran (AAB) during 2015-17.
