This study presents the application of six single algorithm-based models of artificial intelligence, such as artificial neural network (ANN), support vector machine (SVM), classification and regression trees (CART), linear regression (LR), general linear model (GENLIN), and automatic Chisquared interaction detection (CHAID) to predict the residual flexural capacity of corroded RC structures.

In this study, one analytical procedure was established for simultaneous determination based on UV-Vis spectrometry coupled with several multivariate linear regress solved by Python – an open language programme to quantify three antibiotics, including TET, PGP, and CEX, in laboratoryprepared synthetic and pharmaceutical mixtures. This study also provided a universally analytical procedure for determining the three antibiotics in their pharmaceutical forms without the need for optimization for each analyte.

This modeling is performed on an experimental data set of complexes, where the metal ions of these complexes include transition ion metals and lanthanide ion metals. We use these models to develop a series of new thiosemicarbazone and their complexes; simultaneously, the complexes are worked out the stability constants from the novel models.

A Bayesian approach with frequentist validity has been developed to support inferences derived from a BLevel A^ in vivo-in vitro correlation (IVIVC). Irrespective of whether the in vivo data reflect in vivo dissolution or absorption, the IVIVC is typically assessed using a linear regression model. Confidence intervals are generally used to describe the uncertainty around the model. While the confidence intervals can describe population-level variability, it does not address the individual-level variability.

A database consisting of 23 tripeptides was used to study the quantitative relationships between electric surface potential descriptors and antioxidant activity QESARs. The important structural descriptors SaaNH_acnt, SsOH_acnt, SaaN, SaaN_acnt, SsssCH, SaaaC, SsNH3p, SdO, SdO_acnt were selected for constructing the linear models QESARs with genetic algorithm. The best 4-variable linear model QESARlinear including the structural descriptors SaaN, SdO, SdO_acnt and SsOH_acnt was constructed. The quality QESARlinear was exhibited in statistical values R2 fitness of 97.

The purpose of our study was to evaluate the correlation between the new index - visual field index (VFI) and mean deviation index (MD) and pattern standard deviation (PSD) in patients with glaucoma. MD, PSD and VFI were calculated in data about 103 eyes obtained from a cross-sectional study in 103 eyes of 58 patients with mild to severe glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The correlation of VFI to MD, PSD was evaluated with linear regression models, and the coefficient of determination (r) was calculated.

Unstructured modelling growth of Lactobacillus acidophilus as a function of the temperature: We present modelling software developed under MATLAB in which parameter estimations are obtained by using non-linear regression techniques. The different parameters appear in a set of non-linear algebraic and differential equations representing the model of the process. From experimental data obtained in discontinuous cultures a representative mathematical model (unstructured kinetic model) of the macroscopic behaviour of Lactobacillus acidophilus has been developed.
