Học phần Tiếng Anh du lịch 2 là học phần tự chọn, được giảng dạy vào học kỳ thứ 6, là học phần thuộc khối Kiến thức ngành trong khối Kiến thức giáo dục chuyên nghiệp. Thêm vào đó học phần còn cung cấp những thuật ngữ chuyên ngành và kỹ năng thực hành tiếng Anh giao tiếp về các dịch vụ và những tình huống cụ thể trong các nhà hàng và quầy rượu.

Bài viết "Đánh giá sức chứa du lịch các bãi biển ở Thành phố Đồng Hới tỉnh Quảng Bình" đã sử dụng phương pháp tính sức chứa du lịch – tourism carring capacity (TCC) để xác định sức chứa vật lí (PCC), sức chứa thực tế (RCC) và sức chứa hiệu quả (ECC) của 3 bãi biển này. Kết quả tính sức chứa vật lí (PCC) của ba bãi biển đạt 165.200 lượt khách/ngày, sức chứa thực tế là 56.032 lượt khách/ngày và sức chứa hiệu quả (ECC) đạt 34.107 lượt khách/ngày. Kết quả nghiên cứu là tài liệu hữu ích phục vụ công tác quy hoạch và định hướng quản lí du lịch bền vững tại các thành phố ven biển như Đồng Hới.
