This study, therefore, aimed to investigate common speaking-teaching methods EFL teachers at Thanh Phu Junior High School in Vinh Cuu District were deploying to teach speaking skills to ninth-graders in their current speaking classes. Twenty English teachers from this school participated in the questionnaire survey while five of them were randomly chosen for the further interview process.

G-quadurplex (G4) formation plays a role in many biological processes such as replication, transcription, translation, and telomeric maintenance. Stabilization of G4 structure by peptide has recently emerged as a potential approach in the regulation of protein expression. In this study, we reported on regulation of cyan fluorescent protein (CFP) expression by the interaction of G4 and RNA helicase associated with AU-rich elements (RHAU) peptide in E. coli.

The study found that students diverted their attention from linguistic problems to other non-linguistic ones (extralinguistic issues related to extratextual features and general style conventions) after the workshops. This change led to some students’ attempts to avoid word-forword translation and produce more idiomatic translation solutions as shown in the analysis of titles. Recommendations were made on the inclusion of text analysis and problem identification in developing students’ translation skills.

A number of antibiotics have been reported to disturb the decoding process in prokaryotic translation and to inhibit the function of various natural ribozymes. We investigated the e€ect of several antibiotics on in vitro splicing of a eukaryotic nuclear pre-mRNA (b-globin). Of the eight antibiotics studied, erythromycin, Cl-tetracycline and streptomycinwere identi®ed as splicing inhibitors in nuclear HeLa cell extract. A system of procedures and computer programs is proposed for the semi-automatic synthesis of Russian-English translation algorithms. For the purposes of automatic formula finding, a large corpus of Russian scientific and technical text may be processed by an automatic Russian-English dictionary, the resulting word-by-word translation postedited according to a systematic procedure, and the final translation transcribed back onto magnetic tape for input to a computer.
