Verb (play, do, have, study) + Noun - Được sử dụng với các danh từ chỉ hoạt động giải trí hoặc các môn thể thao trong nhà, không liên quan tới trái bóng, thường mang tính cá nhân và không mang tính cạnh tranh Ví dụ: Do yoga (tập yoga) Do ballet (múa ba-lê) Do - Kết hợp với các danh từ diễn tả các hoạt động hằng ngày (thường không tạo nên vật gì cụ thể, không sáng tạo ra cái mới). Ví dụ: do laundry (giặt đồ), do homework +Aerobic +exercises+homework - Được sử dụng với danh từ chỉ môn thể thao liên quan tới trái bóng hoặc một vật tương tự trái bóng như trái cầu/ quả cầu, môn thể thao đồng đội, môn thể thao/trò chơi có tính chất cạnh tranh. Ví dụ: play Play football, play tennis - Được sử dụng khi muốn chơi nhạc, nhạc cụ. Ví dụ: play music, play the guitar+the guitar +football+the violon+the piano+tennis Đứng trước các danh từ chỉ một môn học, một lĩnh vực, một đề tài nghiên cứu hoặc một loại bằng cấp, nhằm diễn đạt việc ai đó nỗ lực học hoặc nghiên cứu một loại kiến thức nào đó. Ví dụ: study English Study study vocabulary +English+Math+Vietnamese Have Đứng trước các danh từ để diễn đạt “ai đó sở hữu cái gì đó” đang có.
Ví dụ: Have a car Đứng trước các danh từ để diễn tả một số hành động hay sự việc. Ví dụ: have breakfast, have a bath +lesson +lunch+a teddy bear. 2. Present Simple tense. (Thì hiện tại đơn) * Usage: 1. Diễn tả một hành động hay một sự việc thường xảy ra. 2. Diễn tả một sự việc có thực xảy ra trong một thời gian dài. 3. Diễn tả một sự thật hay một chân lý thời nào cũng đúng. Dấu hiệu: - always, usually, often, not often, sometimes, occasionally, never - everyday, every week/ month/ year...: mỗi ….. - on Mondays/Sundays …: vào những ngày thứ hai/CN … * Form: Cấu trúc với động từ thường: (+) S + V- infinitive/Vs / es + ……… (-) S + don’t/doesn’t + V-infinitive + ………… (?) (W-H word) + Do/Does + S + V-infinitive + ………………….? E.g: 1. We go to school every morning except Sundays. 2. They live in Oxford. 3. The sun rises in the east. Yes, I am. / No, I am not. * How to pronounce the words added –S/- ES: Cách phát âm đuôi e/es ở thì hiện tại đơn Cách đọc Các động từ có kết thúc với đuôi -p, -k, -t, -f, -th, -gh /s/ E.g: cooks /kʊks/ ; coughs /kɒfs/, months, laughs -s,-ss,-ch,-sh,-x,-z,-o,-ge,-ce + ES /iz/ E.g: misses /ˈmɪsɪz/ ; washes /ˈwɒʃɪz/, watches Không thuộc hai loại trên /z/ E.g: cleans /kliːnz/ ; goes /ɡəʊz/ 3. Adverbs of Frequency – Trạng từ chỉ sự thường xuyên
- Adverbs of Frequency Trạng từ tần suất là trạng từ được dùng để tả mức độ thường xuyên của hành động. Thường đi kèm với THÌ HIỆN TẠI ĐƠN - Trạng từ chỉ tần suất thường đứng ở vị trí: + Đứng sau động từ “tobe” E.g: John is always on time. + Đứng trước động từ chính và đứng sau chủ ngữ. E.g: Tom usually takes the bus to school. + Đứng giữa trợ động từ và động từ chính trong câu E.g: They don’t often go to the cinema. Always: luôn luôn Usually: thường thườngOften: thường xuyên Sometimes: thỉnh thoảngRarely: hiếm khiNever: không bao giờ 4. Present progressive Tense: (Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn) *Structure: (cấu trúc) (+) S + am/is/are + V-ing . (-) S + am not / isn’t / aren’t + V-ing . (?) Am / Is / Are + S + V-ing? Yes, S + am / is / are. No, S + ’m not/ isn’t / aren’t. What + tobe + S + V-ing? Note: I + am , he/she/it/ danh từ số ít + is , they/we/you/ danh từ số nhiều + are E.g1: She is doing her homework at the moment. My mother is not/isn’t staying at home now. Is it raining now? Yes, it is / No, it isn’t. * Use (cách dùng): Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn được dùng để diễn tả một hành động, sự việc hoặc hiện tượng đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói. * How to add –ing: Quy tắc thêm -ing - Động từ kết thúc bằng e thì bỏ e thêm –ing E.g: give giving, use using - Động từ tận cùng bằng ee thì giữ nguyên ee rồi thêm –ing:E.g: see seeing - Động từ có quy tắc phụ-nguyên-phụ thì nhân đôi phụ âm cuối từ đó và thêm –ing E.g:sit sitting , begin beginning, run running - Động từ kết thúc bằng ie thì đổi ie thành y rồi thêm –ing: E.g:Lie lying (nằm) * Time expressions: Dấu hiệu nhận biết Trong câu xuất hiện các từ: now (bây giờ), at the moment (vào lúc này), at present (hiện tại), right now (ngay bây giờ), …. E.g2: My father is reading newspapers at present. Động từ đứng đầu câu và có thêm dấu !: Look!, Listen!, Watch out!, Shh! (coi chừng) E.g3:Look! The teacher is coming over. 5. Possesstive case: Sở hữu cách - Chúng ta sử dụng ’s sau một tên riêng. Name’s + noun E.g: Polly’s sock , Phuc’s bicycle This is Elena’s room. - Chúng ta sử dụng ’s sau một danh từ số ít.  Singular noun’s + noun E.g: This is my sister’s doll .
- Với các danh từ số nhiều đã có “s” ở cuối, chúng ta chỉ dùng dấu phẩy trên (’) để chỉ sở hữu. E.g: Today is teachers’ day. 6. Prepositions of place (Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn) - Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn mô tả người hoặc vật đang ở đâu. - Sau đây là một số giới từ: + in: trong+ on: trên+ behind: phía sau+ under: bên dưới + next to: bên cạnh+ in front of: phía trước+ between: giữa (thường đi kèm với and) + above: phía trên (không tiếp xúc)+ near: gần+ at: ở tại B.
