This study, therefore, aimed to investigate common speaking-teaching methods EFL teachers at Thanh Phu Junior High School in Vinh Cuu District were deploying to teach speaking skills to ninth-graders in their current speaking classes. Twenty English teachers from this school participated in the questionnaire survey while five of them were randomly chosen for the further interview process.

Whilst the level of CQ and the factors that influence CQ have been investigated among business students, it has not been applied to the academics responsible for their education. In the context of CQ, there is a lack of knowledge regarding the capacity or preparedness of university academics to deal with the increasing phenomenon of multiculturalism in the classroom. This research addressed this gap through an examination of the level of CQ exhibited by Australian accounting academics.

This study examines teachers’ attitudes towards the correction of spoken errors through one-to-one interviews and a belief questionnaire. It also investigates the relationship between those standpoints and their teaching practice in classroom context and accordingly suggests more effective ways to deal with students’ spoken errors. For convenience, the two terms “error” and “mistake” are used interchangeably in this study.

The research is designed to investigate the level of the willingness to communicate (WTC) of the first-year students at the National Institute of Education Management (NIEM). First, this research investigates the current levels of WTC in English speaking lessons; its second objective is to find out about factors affecting WTC basing on the results obtained from survey questionnaires and interview.
